Kiwi Inline Hockey League Expansion

The Kiwi Inline Hockey League will expand to 6 Franchises for the KIHL 2025 Season 4.

After a record registration of players KIHL will expand to a 6th franchise with the edition of two new teams in the competition for 2025. With loads of new names joining the biggest Inline Hockey League in New Zealand.

Kiwi Inline Hockey League is pleased to announce the latest Franchise General Manager Nathan Lovell. Nathan will join the table of General Managers from across New Zealand as the first Australian based GM. The Melbourne resident will begin his reign as he builds his franchise through the expansion draft.

Once all other General Managers has selected their protected players from their previous 2024 rosters, the newly appointed GM will have the opportunity to select from the remaining 2024 players and protect 3 players to build his franchise around. The New franchise has also inherited the rights to select 3rd Overall during the 2025 KIHL Draft.

Both Nathan Lovell and recently appointed Royals General Manager Jasmine Horner-Pascoe will both enter their first experience at drafting a franchise.

All General Managers will be in Wellington to draft their teams while Nathan Lovell will be joining us from Fiji. Join the draft live via KIHL YouTube channel from 7.30pm Saturday December 7th.
