Farm Tough College Prospects Camps 2026

Peter Dale from Farm Tough Hockey USA made his first visit to New Zealand to bring us the College Prospects Camp. 

20 Players from around the country made their way to New Plymouth to get first hand coaching by Peter with the opportunity of being selected to join Farm Tough in Milwaukee in June where players can get themselves in front of college scouts.

After 3 days of rigorous training Peter announced Richard Wang and Jayden Kwan would receive scholarships to join Peter and train with players from all over the world. 

Offers were also extended to Troy Borthwick, Troy Perry, Zac Williams, Lincoln Gurnell, Ryan Williams and Benoît Keast. Ruby Waghorn who was the only female at the college prospects camp was also extended an invitation to join future events with Farm Tough.

As part of the weekend a future prospects camp was held for players wanting to get first hand coaching by Peter. While these players would not recieve overseas placement, there was an opportunity to get international coaching and prep themselves for Peter's return in the future. 

A huge thanks to Peter and Lisa Dale from Farm Tough Hockey who made the long trip to New Zealand. A special thanks to Dom Browne from Wheelhub Asia and Shannon Gurnell - KIHL to help get this across the line. A huge step forward for New Zealand and our international partnerships.
