*KIHL Junior Finals Series Weekend Recap*  

_Fantails and Hawks Crowned Champions as Awards Handed Out_

It was a packed Finals Series weekend for the KIHL Junior, with both Division 1 and Division 2 titles decided in straight games, plus the full slate of playoff matchups and the 2026 award winners announced.

### *Division 1 Playoffs*

*Semi-Finals*

- *Fantails 2-0 Saint*  

  The Fantails punched their ticket to the Final with a dominant 2-game sweep over Saint. Strong two-way play carried them through and set up a championship showdown.

- *Yellow Jackets 2-0 Sharks*  

  The Yellow Jackets also advanced in 2 games, taking down the Sharks to book their spot in the Division 1 Final.

*3rd/4th Playoff*  

- *Saint 2-1 Sharks*  

  Saint bounced back to claim 3rd place, defeating the Sharks in a hard-fought 3-game series.  

  With the loss, the *Sharks earn the right to pick first in the KIHL Junior 2027 Draft*.

*KIHL Junior Division 1 Final*  

- *Fantails 2-0 Yellow Jackets*  

  The Fantails capped off their playoff run with another sweep, beating the Yellow Jackets in 2 games to win the *KIHL Junior Division 1 Championship*.

### *Division 2 Playoffs*

*Semi-Finals*

- *Hawks 2-0 Mantas*  

  The Hawks rolled through the Mantas in 2 games to advance to the Division 2 Final.

- *Wasps 2-0 Kings*  

  In the upset of the round, the Wasps knocked off the Kings in 2 games to reach the Final.

*KIHL Junior Division 2 Final*  

- *Hawks 2-0 Wasps*  

  The Hawks completed a perfect playoff run, sweeping the Wasps in 2 games to win the *KIHL Junior Division 2 Championship*.

The league also recognized its top performers from the season:

- *Most Valuable Forward*: Edison Mu

- *Most Valuable Defender*: Alvin Wang  

- *Most Valuable Goalie*: Ryan Yu

*Division 2*
