KihL Playoff Series Weekend

Season 2 Playoffs kicked off with the Mana Cup Marlins taking down the Tui 3 - 2 to take game 1. Ryan Cayzer and Tj Drysdale combining for 4 points. 

Knights would then meet the Recruits in game 1 taking a convincing 5 - 2 win, with Daniel Middleton scoring all 5 goals for the Knights. 

The first of the KIHL Division 1 playoffs seen the defending champion Dolphins take down the Falcons 8 - 1 with Top Points Leader Josh McMaster and Ben Thompson both with 2 goals each. 

Sting would then face-off against the Royals with Braeden Kettle proving too strong for the Royals, Kettle recording 6 goals in a 7 - 4 Sting game 1 win.

WithTui season on the line Adam Carter gave the Tui an early 2 goal lead against the Marlins in Game 2. Marlins continued to strike back drawing the game at 3 - 3, before the Tui took a 4 - 3 lead. However Kaleb Scott had other ideas and completing a Hat-trick with 2 late goals, sending the Marlins to the Mana Cup Finals Series. Marlins win 5 - 4 and take the series 2 - 0.

Recruits season also on the line as they take on the Knights in game 2. Arden Phillips opens the scoring before the Recruits reply with 2 quick goals. However the Knights taking a halftime lead of 4 - 3. After the half the Knights Daniel Middleton managed 2 quick back to back shorthanded goals and the Knights never looked back taking the game 9 - 5 and the Playoff Series 2 - 0.

Mana Cup Finals Series will see the Marlins vs Knights in a best of 3 game finals Series.

The Falcons season decider against the Dolphins seen a 1 - 1 halftime score. The Dolphins eventually proving too strong for KIHL's Newest Franchise Falcons with a 8 - 3 win and a 2 - 0 Playoff Series Win. The win was sealed with another Josh McMaster Hat-trick taking his Season Total to 42 points. 

With the Royals lifeline at stake in game 2 both teams went into the half time break tied 2 - 2. Sting took the lead before the Royals scored 3 unanswered goals to win 5 - 3, tie the series and force a game 3. 

Game 3 seen the Sting take an early 2 goal lead with the Royals creating scoring chances throughout the game but unfortunately couldn't find the back of the net. The Sting going on to Win 3 - 0 and take game 3 of the series to advance to the KIHL Finals Series. Maia Rata recording his first Playoff Series Shutout. 

The KIHL Cup Finals Series will see the Dolphins face-off against the Sting in the best of 3 game playoff series.
